Payroll Support Specialist onsite About the Job Duration Long term renewable contract Location Greer, SC Pay rate Hourly Job ID 3233 This is a Full Time W2 position, no subcontracting or C2C. Overview Datasoft Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Support Specialist for a client in Greer, SC. Performs administrative and clerical duties involved with producing a bi-weekly domestic payroll and administrative support of monthly international payroll as needed. Functions are performed under payroll deadlines and quality standards. Candidates should have recent experience in high volume payroll processing and be able to preform it at the highest level of customer service with a continuous improvement mindset. Candidates should have experience in W2s, garnishments, payroll problem resolution, i9s, and payroll deductions. Responsibilities Supports Plant Spartanburg Time Administrators and Supervisors in ensuring time sheet accuracy as an input to the bi-weekly payroll. Monitors pay issues for Short Term Disability, Military, Jury Duty, Funeral, Bereavement, etc. and takes appropriate action as needed. Utilizes technology such as artificial intelligence, process automation tools, or data analytics to improve payroll efficiency and effectiveness. Performs scheduled payroll audits to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll. Ensures associate direct deposits are accurate and timely with financial institutions. Provides customer service to associates with Payroll questions and Payroll related policy questions. Supports new hire Associate orientation and ensures the entry paperwork is completed accurately, timely and within Federal regulations. Provides data to third party organizations including State and County Courts, Federal and State Tax Authorities. Maintains Personnel Master Data as needed. Completes associate employment verification requests as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1-3 years of experience administering payroll, preferably in a large manufacturing company. 1-3 years using SAP, preferably SAP HCM including Payroll. Intermediate technical and analytical skills demonstrated through business application. Intermediate knowledge of payroll laws and regulations. Intermediate customer service experience. Intermediate SAP skills as proven through business application. Intermediate MS Office skills as proven through business application. Basic familiarity with garnishment rules and regulations.
