Licensed Electrician

We are hiring for a full-time Licensed Electrician in the solar industry.

The Licensed Electrician work hour will be 40+ per week including some weekend days. If you possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills this is your opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a new business and a rapidly growing solar market. We provide you with a company vehicle, phone, laptop, awesome base pay with benefits.

The Licensed Electrician will be responsible for installing electrical service equipment and AC wiring for residential solar PV systems, and interconnect solar PV systems with the electric utility’s distribution system.

Licensed Electrician Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Construction or similar field
  • At least one year of experience in residential electrical work
  • Must have a Current Electrical License
  • Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
  • Must have a current valid drivers’ license with clean driving record
  • Maintain all license requirements and required training in order to successfully complete the job

Job Requirements:

  • Pulling electrical wiring through conduit
  • Pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit
  • Perform electrical and non electrical repairs
  • Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams
  • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Install electrical wiring, equipment and controls
  • Replace electrical motors and controls
  • Perform electrical installation on new equipment
  • Load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment
  • Removing and installing electrical panels
  • Test electrical components of systems
  • Maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
  • Maintain all maintenance workshop electrical equipment
  • Install electrical wiring and assemble components according to blueprints and electrical diagrams
  • Utilize knowledge of electrical wiring standards
  • Modify electrical systems and components
  • Isolate and repair electrical problems
  • Perform electrical preventive maintenance on all equipment
  • Repair various electrical equipment including preventive maintenance and maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Connect wiring to fixtures and power equipment
