The Surgical Services Nurse Director will have the opportunity to join a 450+ bed acute care facility that has been rated as one of the top hospitals in the nation.  With more than 20,000 surgeries per year and more than 75,000 patients through the Emergency Department, this facility is one of the busiest in the region. This award-winning medical center offers an array of services through their multiple locations such has Imaging, General Surgery, Occupational health and Emergency Services.  

While working collaboratively with other Perioperative Service leaders, the Surgical Services Nurse Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer will provide leadership and guidance to Nurse Managers, Supervisors and clinical operating room staff. On average this team performs more than 15,000 surgeries each year and is supported by technologists, anesthesiologists and registered nurses. This top of the line facility offers state-of-the-art surgical suits with advanced surgical technology. The Surgical Services Nurse Director should come Master’s prepared along with already having or willing to obtain the CNOR certification. This is very busy operating and an experienced Surgical Services Nurse Director is needed to come in and hit the ground running.
