Digital Media Specialist

The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for researching, developing and optimizing every aspect of our clients’ search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns.

This includes managing keyword research and bids, formulating and managing our clients’ pay-per-click (PPC) budgets, analyzing and reporting results, and occasional direct consultation with clients.

This individual works with clients and other members of the DOM team learning the day-to-day administration of digital marketing and advertising initiatives for the Agency’s automotive clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide SEM performance data as needed to AEs for client review Optimize campaigns for best performance Build new accounts for new clients Build new campaigns for existing clients Assist and/or develop/initiate Creative Production Requests Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed; both DOM and client Maintain relationships with production, creative and all other departments Monitor and report competitive spending for assigned markets Develop meeting content and help write presentations Become a “market expert” for assigned markets and continuously monitor for competitive activity, economic and demographic changes, etc.

Understand the Client’s business Thoroughly understand the production process Intermediate understanding of digital media and Google Analytics Intermediate understanding of SEO Thoroughly understand legal/disclaimers and adhere to them with all work Thoroughly understand co-op and compliance and adhere to them with all work Assist in launch process where applicable Develop and deploy optimal SEM strategies Ensure all creative needs have passed through proper approval and legal channels prior to implementation Stay in close communication with all necessary departments on timetables and milestones Collaborate with the SEM Team and leadership in the pursuit of new clients Assist with department recruiting, training and continuous development Help foster open communication between departments & and a positive culture Other duties and special projects as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent relevant experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Google AdWords Search Network (essential) Proven communication proficiency, both verbally and written, with people at all levels of an organization Proposal/presentation skills experience Intermediate skills utilizing Microsoft Office products, Google Drive, and other third-party software packages Display Network (preferred) Google AdWords certification (preferred) Strong attention to detail required Ability to analyze and interpret data
