Hospitalists Needed in Coastal South Carolina

Tidelands Health is recruiting hospitalists for our two acute care hospitals – Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital and Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital – located 22 miles apart. We are looking for experienced or new graduate internal medicine physicians. Physicians will provide inpatient services seven-on and-seven-off, days 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and/or nights 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The need is both full-time nocturnists and days/nights combo with the majority being day shifts. Our experienced hospitalist group is staffed with health system-employed physicians and advanced practitioners. Tidelands Health has open critical care units with consulting pulmonary/critical care physician support 24/7 and a wide range of specialties on site, including cath lab services in Georgetown. Additional support from tertiary specialists is available at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. We offer a competitive salary, sign-on bonus, educational stipend, quality and production bonuses and a robust benefits package.

Tidelands Health is four hospitals and more than 60 outpatient locations that stretch from Little River to Andrews. More than 2,500 physician and employee partners are working side by side with our patients to transform the health of our region — promoting wellness, preventing illness, encouraging recovery, and restoring health. Each year, more than 14,000 people trust Tidelands Health for inpatient care. More than 500,000 people visit our outpatient locations, nearly 8,000 surgeries are performed, and our emergency departments are visited more than 60,000 times. Tidelands Health is a 330-bed, community-based, not-for-profit, independent health system that reinvests millions of dollars each year into our facilities.
